The HUF building, located on Hoogstraat, is considered the most beautiful monument of the post-war reconstruction period in Rotterdam. In 1953, the renowned architects Van den Broek & Bakema designed this building as a symbol of post-war optimism.

Since 1954, the building has been occupied by the HUF shoe store. Following a restoration and redevelopment completed in 2009, the building still exudes its historical grandeur. Noorderhoofd Real Estate currently leases approximately 2,900m2 to a variety of businesses and retail chains, including Sostrene Grene and Footlocker.
